 havng a burger & a couple of ciders at the White Horse Tavern. A woman at the next table gave her friend a copy of Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott. "Shitty first drafts," I exclaimed. "Isn't she great," the woman replied. "I'm gong to write my masterpiece," the friend said. So there it is then.
